    If you are interested in submitting an application for your child for a magnet program, Nova school or school reassignment for the 2018/19 school year, the School Choice application window is open now through February 7, 2018.

    BCPS full-time employees will only receive priority for reassignments at schools within the Innovation Zone (IZone) of their work locations.  Please note, not all schools are available for priority reassignments.

  • Take our daughters and sons to work day

    Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is an annual event, for children between the ages of 8 and 18, sponsored by the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation. With parental approval, students can participate by visiting a particular workplace of a parent, guardian, adult relative, or adult family friend.
    Broward County Public schools will observe the National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on Friday, February 2, 2018.

Online forms are easy to complete and all data is protected and secure. For families with multiple children attending Broward County Public Schools, some information will only need to be entered one time.

    We are excited to announce that Broward County Public Schools is adopting the CareDox Electronic Health Records system. CareDox which will serve as a tool for parents/guardians to interact online with healthcare personnel at their child’s school in consultation with their health care needs.
    CareDox Benefits:
    The benefits of CareDox include:
     Provide medical information electronically between parents/guardians, healthcare personnel and school staff
     Provide timely notifications when your child visits the healthcare personnel’s office
     Provide updated health information that is readily available to your child’s school

    Broward Parent Enrollment Process:
    Enrolling in the CareDox Parent Portal will be the fastest and most secure way for parents to provide annual up-to-date health information to your child’s school. The parent enrollment process, which will happen through the CareDox Parent Portal, is outlined below.
     You will be receiving an email communication from CareDox for health enrollment
    o If you have not provided your student(s) school with an email address, please do so as soon as possible.
     The health enrollment email will contain a unique link to your child’s health profile.
     When you open the link you will be prompted to create an account and complete annual health related questions that pertain to your child.
     Completion of the health form will take 5–30 minutes.

    Dear Community Friends,
    Broward County Public Schools is launching the “Send Your Sales Tax to Schools” campaign. This opportunity connects the community with our schools, allowing local businesses to donate a portion of the sales tax they collect, to support classroom technology and teacher trainings.
    You can donate at no cost! Just check the donation box on your monthly Florida Department of Revenue online tax form (DR-15, DR-15EZ or DR-15CON). Please see attachment for detailed information, or visit
