Strategic Initiative Management (SIM)

  • Strategy, Execution, Success The Office of Strategic Initiative Management (SIM) helps the District successfully execute its priorities to maximize student success. The School Board established the office to better position the District to achieve its Strategic Plan goals. The core capabilities of SIM include: Performance Management, Program Evaluation, and Initiative Oversight. The School Board adopted the new and revised job descriptions for these departments after final reading on October 18, 2016 (see Item CC-10).

    SIM – Why?
    Drive Strategic Plan execution by maximizing collaboration and focusing utilization of limited resources through the ongoing monitoring and reporting on initiatives for optimal outcomes, benefits and impact.

    Vision – What?
    Position the organization to achieve its goals through excellence in execution.

    Mission – How?
    Support, improve and optimize system-wide collaboration, learning, use of analytics and resources, and impact and knowledge management.
