Your privacy matters. The School Board of Broward County, Florida, is dedicated to protecting the personal information of its students and employees. As the District’s Privacy Officer, it is my pleasure to serve you and help clarify any issues pertaining to privacy rights. This website contains notices, forms, policies, and helpful information. In certain instances, FERPA and state law allow disclosing information from education records without written consent from the parent or student (age 18 or over). However, certain conditions and requirements must be met. Here are informative documents developed by the Privacy Officer and the Office of the General Counsel to help guide you through the process.
